Bar Crawls at Walt Disney World

The most famous bar crawl at Walt Disney World is inside EPCOT. Some of our earliest podcast episodes were from our attempt to “Drink Around World Showcase.” For some fun in-the-park drink reviews, check out our videos on YouTube.

But EPCOT isn’t the only place to bar crawl. In fact we found SIX other bar crawls that we can’t wait to try next time we visit Walt Disney World!

First we will start outside the parks with four options that do not require park admission.

Monorail Crawl

Some friends tried this one and said it was a blast! Here you will visit the resort hotel bars that are along the Monorail loop - the Contemporary, the Grand Floridian, and the Polynesian. At the Contemporary, you have the California Grill Lounge, the Outer Rim, and The Wave as your stops. Head over to the Grand Floridian to visit the Enchanted Rose. The stop at the Polynesian for the Tambu Lounge, Trader Sam’s, and the Pineapple Lanai.

If you want bonus points, hop on a boat from the Magic Kingdom to get to Fort Wilderness and visit the Territory Lounge (one of my personal favorites) and Crockett’s Tavern.

Skyliner Crawl

For some aerial views of Walt Disney World Resort, let’s ride the Skyliner. You can reach the Riviera, Caribbean Beach, Pop Century, and Art of Animation resorts via the Skyliner. The Riviera has Bar Riva and Topolino Terrace. Caribbean Beach has Banana Cabana, Pop Century has Petals Pool Bar, and Art of Animation has The Drop Off Pool Bar.

This crawl only has five stops, but this one is all about the views.

Disney Springs Crawl

If walking is more your style, head on over to Disney Springs. Here you can find Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel, The Edison, Raglan Road, Wine Bar George, Paradiso 37, Boathouse, the Forbidden Lounge at Morimoto Asia, and Dockside Margaritas.

Though I haven’t visited all of these locations, Raglan Road is a personal favorite for dinner in Disney Springs. My wife and I also have visited Dockside Margaritas so we can sip while we cool down after a hot Florida day. And when we were on our honeymoon, we ate dinner at Paradiso 37. All I can say is that you can’t go wrong at any of these Disney Springs locations.

Boardwalk Area Crawl

One of my favorite areas outside of the parks is the Boardwalk. I think Chris would agree. I love heading that direction as the sun is setting because I love the atmosphere after dark. On the Boardwalk side you have the Atlantic Dance Hall (a bit of a hidden gem at times), AbracadaBar, BoardWalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas, Belle Vue Lounge, and the ESPN Club. Across the way, the Ale & Compass Lounge, Martha’s Vineyard, and the Crew’s Cup Lounge are a the Yacht Club, and Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar is at the Beach Club.

If you want something a little colder after a hot day, head over to Beaches and Cream for a special treat!

And if you’re going to be in the parks anyways, here is what you can find in both Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom:

Hollywood Studios Crawl

Go from a galaxy far, far away to Hollywood’s Golden Age as you sip around Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You can go from Galaxy’s Edge’s Oga’s Cantina and Milk Stand to the terrestrial Baseline Tap Room, Tune-In Lounge, Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge, Oasis Canteen, and Sunshine Day Bar. You will get a variety of atmospheres and tastes as you enjoy your day strolling the park.

Animal Kingdom Crawl

And you thought EPCOT was the only park where getting to every venue is a full-day affair. Disney’s Animal Kingdom has eleven venues where you can grab a drink: the Nomad Lounge, Dawa, Tamu Tamu (for a Dole Whip with alcohol), Wanjohi, Warung, Drinkwallah, Quality Beverages at Yak & Yeti, Thirsty River, Pongu Pongu, Dino Diner, and the Restaurantosaurus Lounge.

Once again you will find a variety of tastes in this Disney park. This is a great opportunity to grab a couple friends, share the drinks, and try something a little different!

Have you tried one of these crawls? What is your favorite? Or just what is your favorite drink from these locations?!
